Steven Kraus, M.D.

Dr. Steven Kraus, born in New Jersey, earned his M.D. degree from Chicago Medical School. He continued his medical training at the University of Maryland Hospital, where he completed his residency in Family Practice.

He started a community Health Center in Bethel, Maine, with the U.S. Public Health Service, providing medical services to an underserved community.

In 1983, he began a practice in Atlanta and merged with Urban Family Practice in 1995.

Dr. Kraus is married to Helen Oxman Kraus and they have two sons, Zachary and Michael. He exercises daily and enjoys skiing, boating and tennis.
