Are your shots up to date?

 

For children & adolescents:

 

·       Children born after January 1, 2006 are required to have Hepatitis A vaccine in order to attend preschool

·       Children < age 5 are required to have Pneumococcal vaccine for preschool

·       Children entering Kindergarten or 6th grade must have 2 MMRs and 2 Varicella (chickenpox) shots

·       Children ages 11-12 (up to 19) should have a Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis booster AND a Meningitis shot

·       Girls beginning age 11 AND young women up to age 26 should have the HPV vaccine

 

For adults:

 

·       All adults should get a Tetanus-Diphtheria- Pertussis booster every 10 years

·       Adults > age 60 should get the new Shingles vaccine

·       Adults > age 65 should receive a Pneumonia shot
